Global Packaging Rebrand

At Tolleson, we worked with Nike’s Global Packaging Design Studio to create a new visual system for their packaging.
The goal was to bring consistency across all retail channels, including flagship stores and outlets.
Once a design was approved we built a flexible system that could work across thousands of product types

The project had two parts:

Part 1: Design Rebrand

Role: Designer
Task: Design exploration rounds / deck creation / presentation

As part of Nike’s rebrand efforts, we collaborated with the Global Packaging Design Studio to develop a refreshed visual system that would align packaging across product categories
while introducing the brand’s sustainability initiative called Move to Zero.

During Phase 1, we explored different design directions across a few packages with unique requirements.
These studies helped us test how color, type, and layout could work across various product lines. We created visual “buckets” that showed how the new design could flex based on packaging needs.

I contributed to testing typography, label sizing, and illustration styles that helped shape the final system. Although much of my work was behind the scenes,
it played an important role in moving the project forward. This experience helped sharpen my technical skills, confidence in my contributions, and collaboration on large and complex design systems.

Part 2: Implementation & Production

Role: Lead Designer
Task: Design implementation for all global regions and multiple package categories

Led implementation efforts for several categories: socks, men’s underwear, baby and youth packages and other licensee products
